London 2012 - 2012 venue could be rebranded 'Ann Summers Stadium'

The 2012 Olympic Stadium could be renamed after a sex toy company following the Games, according to reports.
The Sun reports that West Ham co-chairman David Gold has told Hammers fans that when the club moves to the site in Stratford following the Olympics, it could be rebranded as the Ann Summers Stadium.
"It would be a good idea if it's called the Ann Summers Stadium," Gold told fans during a Q&A session at Upton Park when asked if one of his companies would get the ground's naming rights.
Ann Summers, a nationwide firm specialising in saucy lingerie and sex toys, is owned by Gold and run by his two daughters, Jacqueline and Vanessa.
"I thought he was joking at first but I don't think he was, he really meant it," one fan told the paper.
"I'm not sure what football fans will make of the Ann Summers Stadium. You can imagine the sort of stick we'll get from away fans coming to the ground."
Slightly disappointingly, a spokesman for Gold later played down the idea: "He was asked the question in a light-hearted way and he answered, but it doesn't mean to say that's going to happen. He wasn't being serious."
Still, all is not lost: Gold's co-chairman David Sullivan is one of Britain's most successful porn barons, so a saucy name might yet be on the cards for West Ham's new home. Uptonogood Park, anyone?
