One Alfred Place has acquired a reputation as a venue for events, from screenings to book launches, breakfast meetings and board presentations, product launches and cocktail parties.

For larger events we have the Store Street room: a relaxed lounge space ideal for standing parties of up to 100 or theatre-style for around 70. If you're set on a sociable event like a significant birthday, or want to bring all your colleagues together, then you can hire our bar and restaurant area. And if you're feeling really ambitious, then subject to availability you can hire the whole club.

"A friendly welcome from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. YouGovStone finds the Store Street room a wonderful setting for talks and debates. The restaurant is reasonably priced with prompt service. Never hesitate to invite business people to meet here."

"One Alfred Place has hosted a number of fantastic party’s for The Marketing Academy since we launched last year and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the food, which is sublime, to the venue, which is fantastic to the brilliant team of staff who bend over backwards to provide such a wonderful experience. So, just book your event with One Alfred Place, you won’t regret it."

    What if Manhattan…

  • Imagine if you lived in New York City and woke up to find that everyone had gone, you couldn't fail to notice something like that. This is a disturbing visual observation of what it would be like if NYC was in Syria, a desolate, abandoned ruin of a city, devoid of it's inhabitants.

Purpose and the Hamdi Foundation who have just released this hard hitting video for UNHCR that illustrates the scale of the Syrian Refugee crisis by showing what 1.5 million people leaving Manhattan would look like.
